Smell

This essay is a tribute to one of the best books i have ever read.


In the world of the five senses in my mind there is only one i admire the most. Out of sight, sound, touch and taste smell is the only one that you cannot live without. Smell has two senses into one, it possesses taste and touch. Depending on your type of nose, most people can taste something with just a little whiff of something. Your knows is a body part that you really cannot loose. Unlike your ears, eyes and mouth your nose always stays with you. In some ways your nose is a sixth sensed. Most of the time you can tell what is going on in the next room weather it be the sweet smell of freshly baked cookies or the smell of smoke rolling off of a fire. Some down sides to having a nose is of course the occasional bad smell that engulfs your nose it fear and disgust. Also when it comes to colds and allergies the nose really is the main Target for germs. Everybody knows about the nose bleed, i live at a very high altitude and nose bleeds accrue here a lot. Even if the nose has a few problems and flaws in this writers mind the gift of having a nose is the best gift of all. GO NOSES
