Its Hard Being Twelve

As you all know i am twelve years old what makes me different than all of the other twelve year old boys is that all of my friends are girls. That isn't on accident for some reason whenever i talk to boys it is extremely awkward. It sounds pretty pathetic that i can't be social with my own gender. But the social issue isn't all that makes me different, i don't care for rap music that much. They're some exceptions but i really like jazz and classic rock. Like the millions of American kids i have chronic depression and anxiety. I also don't care about trying to impress girls or looking good. What i like most is reading, history, music and writing. My extreme passion for writing makes an invisible wall from me and the other kids. Unlike most kids i actually know what i would like to achieve when i get to age. My goal is to publish a book by the end of the summer i have already written it and our family friend sent it to a publisher and we are waiting to hear back from her. But for my job i would like to be a columnist for The New Yorker. I really hope you like my writing i will be in Los Angeles for the weekend so i will be blogging about my experiences.
